Active Program
Our physiotherapy-based therapeutic exercise program may be utilized during both your early and long-term recovery. At Active Body Clinic we integrate the practice of physiotherapy as it relates to enhancing fitness. Our Active Program involves the specific assessment of the physical function of your neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems. We then put in place a plan that involves the treatment and rehabilitation of physical dysfunction (obesity, musculoskeletal weakness/injury, poor cardiovascular function, bone weakness/osteoporosis). Our goal is to relieve pain, promote mobility and health, teach independence through exercise and to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment function.
Active Body Clinic has a state-of-the-art fitness training facility designed to provide our clients with a more private exercise experience than what they would find at a traditional fitness club. This enables us to assist our clients to strengthen, condition and stretch their body, with our proven effective methods in our controlled environment.
Our physiotherapists utilize exceptionally talented and trained physiotherapy assistants to implement our programs of care. These programs seamlessly integrate strength and conditioning strategies, some developed in ancient times, to provide our client’s with modern protocols that attain results. Pairing these strategies with functional activities is the backbone of our program that we refer to as ‘Fully Integrated Training’, or F.I.T. for short.
Every client is unique and therefore has unique needs. All of our programs are custom made and are then modified to our client’s changing needs.
