Emily has been working in private practice settings since 2003, and has enjoyed pursuing her manual therapy levels, acupuncture training, and certification in custom orthotics and footwear.

Emily has extensive experience treating a large variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions with clients of all ages. Emily works with all clients to quickly identify the source of their pain, along with all factors contributing to the pain, and she efficiently determines the best solutions for each client. She thoroughly enjoys working with more complex conditions, with the goals of improving pain, function and quality of life. One of the greatest joys of being a physiotherapist for Emily is connecting with clients and helping them feel at ease through the course of their physiotherapy treatment.

Emily promotes exercise in her personal and professional life as she believes that fitness is imperative for optimal function and well-being. Emily played Division 1 soccer in the NCAA for two years in New York State, and then went on to play soccer at the University of Western Ontario. Emily is an avid runner, and has completed the Toronto Marathon. She enjoys hot yoga, as well as skiing and playing tennis with her family.

Emily celebrated her tenth wedding anniversary in May 2015 by travelling with her husband to Spain. They have two wonderful little girls who keep them very busy and very, very happy.
