Lisa developed her interest in physiotherapy as a young child watching her older sister play rugby for Quebec. When her sister separated her shoulder and attended physiotherapy, Lisa was intrigued by the Physiotherapist’s ability to help her sister return to the game.

Growing up in Montreal, Lisa enjoyed playing soccer, softball, and spent several years cheerleading for the local football team. When she was sixteen, her parents decided to move to Mississauga where she completed her high school education at Loyola Catholic Secondary School. Developing a strong interest and passion for physical activity, nutrition, and health, all roads seemed to lead Lisa towards a career in Physiotherapy.

Lisa first attended the Kinesiology program at the University of Western Ontario. At Western, Lisa’s passion for nutrition, exercise physiology, and health flourished. Upon graduation, Lisa set out for a three month adventure in Europe. Lisa explored the food, art and culture in Spain, relaxed on the beaches in southern Portugal, and joined her sister to explore the famous cities of Italy. It was during this trip that Lisa developed her passion for travel and readiness for her future career in physiotherapy.

Lisa graduated from the McMaster University Masters of Physiotherapy program.  After graduation, Lisa embarked on another European adventure with two other physiotherapy graduates. In three weeks they explored the streets of Paris and sailed through the Greek Islands.

Lisa has continued her education with courses in manual therapy, Pilates, athletic taping, and thoracic and lumbar manipulations.  With a hunger for knowledge, Lisa is dedicated to expanding her expertise in manual therapy, biomechanics and advanced exercise prescription in order to provide her clients with the highest caliber of care.
