Deep Tissue Massage – how to safely deliver deep tissue massage and treat an array of musculoskeletal conditions such as neck and shoulder pain, low back dysfunctions, IT band contracture, etc.

Complicated Shoulder Conditions and Pelvic Stabilizations – run by world class massage educator, James Waslaski, this course focused on treating conditions of the shoulder, such as Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, adhesive capsulitis / frozen shoulder, shoulder impingement, and sprains/strains. The pelvic stabilizations portion of the course is a vital step in treating an array of conditions. The pelvis forms the centre of the body. Asymmetries here can lead to pain not only directly in the hips, but can travel up into the low back, neck or shoulders, or travel down into the knees or ankles. Stabilizing the pelvis can augment results of any medically necessary massage.

Cupping Massage Certification – cupping is an ancient technique that is used by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctors for a variety of reasons. Most massage techniques apply a downward pressure on muscles. In contrast, cupping lifts muscles and soft tissue up thus creating a more profound release. This is a deeply relaxing therapy appropriate for those who love massage with moderate to deep pressure. Cupping is an excellent treatment choice for chronic tension of the neck, shoulders or low back. In addition it enhances recovery times for chronic repetitive strain injuries such as tendinitis, bursitis, IT band contracture, plantar fasciitis / heel spurs, etc.

Hot Stones – Hot stone massage is a premium massage service that uses warmed stones as an extension of the therapist’s hands. The stones deliver a deeply penetrating heat to the client’s muscles, thus enhancing the therapeutic benefits of the massage. Hot stone massage has become a very popular treatment modality due to its supremely relaxing nature.
